Qualification
- Assistant Superintendent: Masters Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries failing which Master’s Degree in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology from a recognized University.
- Fisheries Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries failing or Master’s Degree in Marine Science /Zoology from a recognized University.
- Fisheries Surveyor: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Higher Secondary School Certificate in Science from a recognized University/ Institution. Knowledge of Konkani.
- Junior Deckhand: Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution. OR Successfully completed the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in relevant trade.
- Fieldman: Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution. OR Successfully completed the course conducted by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent, in relevant trade.
- Bosun:- Second Hand Fishing Mates ticket issued by Mercantile Marine Department, failing which, two years Vessel Navigation Course in the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training, Cochin, failing which, six months Fisheries TrainingCourse and second class Master Course conducted by Captain of Ports.
- Junior Technician:- Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor of Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries or Bachelor of Science with Zoology/Botany from a recognized University. Knowledge of Konkani.
- Laboratory Assistant:- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry or Zoology from a recognized University. Knowledge of Konkani.
- LDC:- Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
Salary Details
- Assistant Superintendent, Bosun: Level-6
- Fisheries Officer, Junior Technician: Level-5
- Fisheries Surveyor, LDC: Level-2
- Laboratory Assistant
- Junior Deckhand, Fieldman: Level-1
Age Limit: 45 years as on 19th July 2021
Selection Process: The selection is based on Written Examination.
How to Apply: Interested and Eligible applicants may appear along with The generated hard copy of the Application Form filled in with the necessary details and affixed with his/her recent self attested passport size photograph on the space provided and duly signed at the bottom of the Application Form shall be submitted by hand delivery/through postal delivery in the Directorate of Fisheries Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Panaji-Goa from 20th July 2021 to 05th August 2021 between 09.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. daily (Lunch break 1:15 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.).
